Returns & Exchanges.

These items are handmade, some being unique and one-of-a-kind and others being custom made to your requests.  For those reasons I don't accept returns, exchanges or cancellations.  But please contact me, within 10 days of receipt, if you have any problems with your order.

I live close to Milverton, ON.  Can I pickup my order to save on shipping costs?

Of course!  Porch pickup is available.  Simply select "Local Pickup" at checkout.  You should see all shipping charges removed before entering your payment.  Once your order is complete I will message you to arrange pickup.

How long does it take to make my item?

Items that say "custom" or "made to order" will depend on the time of the year.  Across the top of each page, in the banner, it will tell you my current lead times.  Please remember these lead times are just how long it takes to make the item, please allow for shipping after that.  Also items that say 'Ready to Ship' still need some time for processing - allow 3-5 days for packaging, you will receive a notification when your item is ready for pickup or being shipped out.

Does my shipped order include tracking?

Yes!  All parcels shipped in Canada & the United States are sent via Canada Post with a tracking number.  You will receive this information with your shipping notification email.  Orders within Canada are typically 2-5 business days while the United States is 5-10 business days.   Duty is at the expense of the purchaser.

How do I wash/clean my knit items?

Most, but not all, of our items are made with some wool in them.  All products will have specific care instructions listed in the details at the time of purchasing.  Generally we recommend that all of our items be hand washed or spot cleaned.  Reshape & lay flat to dry.  Never hang, rub or twist knitwear.  Faux fur pom poms are not to be submerged in water.  Using a hair dryer on low heat is a great way to fluff up or reshape your pom.

How accurate is your sizing?

Sizing is based on average head circumference measurements.  It is recommended that you measure the head circumference using a soft measuring tape and select based on those measurements versus selecting the age alone.  All sizes/measurements can be found in the product details of each item.

Do your hats have a front & a back?

Typically, yes!  Each hat is made seamless but I do position the pom & the tag/button to create a front to the hat.  The tag/button should be on the left side of your head when wearing - this will ensure your pom fur is at the best angle!
